SBA intends to propose substantive changes to the regulations governing the 8(a) Business Development (BD) program. Some of these changes would directly impact 8(a) applicants and Participants owned by tribes, and therefore SBA requests comments and input from the tribal community on the various approaches and changes in the proposed rule. Additionally, SBA is seeking comments and input on how best to propose several other program policies SBA is contemplating that would impact tribal participation in the 8(a) BD program.
